10-member athletic team for Poland

CHANDIGARH, JULY 6
The Athletics Federation of India will field a 10-member Indian team in the IAAF World Junior Athletics Championships to be held at Bydgoszcz (Poland) from July 8 to 13, according to federation secretary general Dr Lalit Bhanot.
M. R. Poovamma from Karnataka is the best bet in the Indian team. Poovamma is in good form which helped Indian women 4x400 relay team to clock best timing in recent years. Promising high jumper from Tamilnadu L. Yogiraj,is another athlete who could throw surprise results in Bydgoszcz. Although his recent 2.14m jump is not figured in world top marks but he is capable of raising the bar to new heights. The team left for Poland from New Delhi today.
Jasdeep Singh Dhillon of Punjab is also a promising thrower. PT Usha has been appointed coach of the team.
Squad: Junior Men: Jithin Paul, 400m hurdles (Kerala), Shejil Verghese, 400m hurdles Kerala), Lakshmanan Yogiraj, high jump (Tamilnadu), Jasdeep Singh Dhillon, shot put (Punjab).
Junior Women: M. R. Poovamma, 400m, 4x400m (Karnataka), Tintu Luka, 800m, 4x400m (Kerala) Simon Rajam Bindhu, 800m, 4x400m (Kerala), Chinchu Jose, 4x400m (Kerala), Jauna Murmu, 4x400 (West Bengal). Team Manager: Suresh Babu. Coach: P.T. Usha.

How about Tintu Luka, she is a protege of P.T Usha, who is running her own academy now.
