Sanchit Gupta excelled with bat and ball as Delhi Public School of Pinjore defeated Alberton Cricket and Hockey Club from Johazesberg, South Africa by three wickets and four balls to spare in a 20-20 cricket match at the Delhi Public School ground in Pinjore today.
The tourists batting first after winning the toss piled up 171 all out. Mini Nicholas (27) and Jacobus Johannes (25) made useful contributions Runs. Sanchit Gupta was the highest wicket taker for DPS as claiemed four wickets.
DPS Pinjore achieved their target by scoring 171 for 3 in 19.2 overs. Sanchit Gupta contributed 28 runs. He also took four wickets and was rightly declared man of the match. The other main scorers were Vaibhav Chaudhary (28) and Pranav Bhaskar (24).Vyron captured two wickets for the visitors. Alberton Cricket and Hockey Club are on a 42-day tour to India playing a total of 27 matches all over country. It was their seventh match played in North India.
