Fine knocks by Yogesh Nathani (71) and Sayyim (52) runs helped 37 Cricket Academy defeat Desh Prem Azad Academy by eight wickets in the LIC Trophy Cricket Tournamaent at Saint Stephen's School in Sector 45 here today.
DP Azad Academy won the toss and elected to bat first. Mohd. Junnid and Paras Rishi realised 41 runs for the opening wicket stand. At one stage DP Azad Academy were 82 for 2. After that the batting order collapsed and they got out 143 in 26.1 overs. Their five batsmen got run out. Mohd. Junnid (26), Karan Inder (26) and Akash Sharma (24) were the main scorers. Kamalpreet (2 for 19) and Dipanshu Wadhwa (1 for 8) were the main bowlers for 37 Cricket Academy.
In reply 37 Cricket Academy scored 146 for 2 in just 18.5 overs in 30 overs. Yogesh Nathani scored 71 in 59 balls and Sayyim remained unbeaten on 52 in 35 balls. Azadvir (2 for 27) was the only successful bowler for DP Azad Academy.
