Surinder Mahajan to train in Austria

CHANDIGARH, JUNE 26

Sports Authority of India bational badminton coach Surinder Mahajan has been invited to Austria to impart training to European ranked players and others from Germany, Poland, Salvania, Czech, Austria and various other countries.
The camp will start on June 27 and will conclude on July 30. This is for the first time that a top national badminton coach from Chandigarh has been invited for such an important training camp in Austria.
Giving this information here today, Chandigarh Badminton Association president MC Sethi said that Surinder Mahajan’s training in Czech Republic had attracted the players so much that they visited Chandigarh at the earliest opportunity to maintain continuity in their coaching programme.
Mahajan is also Technical Advisor to Chandigarh Badminton Association and coaching the players from City Beautiful who have been bringing laurels to the association.
CBA general secretary and former chief national badminton coach TPS Puri said that invitation of Mahajan to train in Europe was a matter of proud for Chandigarh Badminton Association.
