St Xavier's win, faces protest for fielding overage players

St Xavier’s School snatched a two-wicket victory over Shri Shri Cricket Academy of Panchkula in the first Radhey Shyam Kanojia Memorial Cricket Tournament for Under-10 at the D C Model School in Sector 7 here today.
Batting first Sri Shri Academyscored 151 for 5 in allotted 25 overs. Abhishek Sharma played a smart innings of 71. Surya and Subham contributed 28 and 29 respectively. Anmol of St Xavier’s bagged 2 for 22.
In reply, St Xavier’s achieved their target by scoring 152 for 8 in 24.2 overs. Akshom top-scored with 68 while Vaibhav was the other outstanding batsman for the winners by scoring 42. Surya and Nehal Bhajni got two wickets each for 26 and 24 runs, respectively.
The match was played under protest as Kirti and Shivam Mittal have allegedly failed to produce their Municipal Corporation date of birth certificates

St. Xavier’s: 152 for 8 in 24.2 overs (Vaibhav 42, Akshom 68, Kirti 13, Surya 2 for 26, Nehal Bhajni 2 for 24, Vaibhav 1 for13).
In the second match, Coaching Centre, Sector 19 handed out a 107-run drubbing to Satluj Cricket Academy.
Coaching Centre Sector 19 scored 150 for 9 in stipulated 25 overs. Vivek and Vikas contributed 32 and 31, respectively. Gagan was the most successful bowler of Satluj Cricket Academy .
In reply, Satluj Academy were bundled out for a meager total of 43 in 16.2 overs. Rahul (2 for 9), Pardeep (2 for 5) and Vivek 2 for 12.
