More than 300 kickboxers from all over the state will compete in the Punjab State Junior and Sub-Junior Kickboxing Championship for boys and girls being held at the Cambridge School, Dhuri, about 15 k.m from Sangrur from September 4 to 6. Giving this information Gursharan Singh secretary of Punjab Kickboxing Association informed that the championship will be inaugurated by Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa ,President Punjab Olympic Association.The bouts will start on September 4 at 5 p.m. .He further informed that Punjab teams for participation in the National Championships being held at Bhuvneswar from October 1 to 4 will be selected during the competition.
