The Aircel-PGTI Qualifying School for the 2010 season begins on December 2, 2009 at Jaipur. The First Qualifying Stage will be held at the Rambagh Golf Club, Jaipur from December 2 – 6, 2009. This will be followed by the Final Qualifying Stage at the Golden Greens Golf & Country Club, Gurgaon from December 8 – 11, 2009.
The First Qualifying Stage will be divided into Pre Qualifying I and Pre Qualifying II. Pre Qualifying I will be held on 2nd and 3rd December (36 holes stroke play), while Pre Qualifying II will be staged on 5th and 6th December (36 holes stroke play).
Seventy-three qualifiers from the two stages of Pre Qualifying will make it to the Final Qualifying Stage where they will be joined by 47 players who were exempt from the First Qualifying Stage. The Final Qualifying Stage (72 holes stroke play) will be held from 8th to 11th December.
In the Final Qualifying Stage, a maximum field of 120 players (+ ties) will play two rounds. After 36 holes, the field will be cut to the leading 80 players and ties, who will play two further rounds.
At the conclusion of 72 holes, the leading players (+ ties) will be ranked in their respective category for 2010.The top 42 players from the Final Qualifying Stage will earn a full card for the 2010 Aircel-PGTI season.
