Karandeep holds spotlight in schools gymnastics

CHANDIGARH, AUG 21

Karandeep of SGGS Collegiate of Sector 26 stole the limelight by winning six gold medals in the Chandigarh Inter-School Artistic Gymnastics here today. He was declared the best all-round gymnast by logging 53.10 points. Akash Arya of Government Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 19 was the best best all-round gymnast with 42.50 points.

Karandeep also won gold medals in table vault, horizontal bar, parallel barsd, pommel horse and Roman Rings.

Boys U-14:

All- round best gymnast: 1  Karandeep  ( S.G.G.S. Coll-26)   53.10, 2  Akash Arya  (G.M.S.S-19)  42.50, 3  Varun (                  Stepping Stones-37)  35.40 and  Ekesh (Stepping Stones-37)  33.70.
