Warriors snatch excting 2-run win against Panthers

Super Warriors snatched an exciting two-run victory over APL Panthers in the Asian Premier Cricket League being played at the Northern Railway Stadium here today.

Batting first , Super Warriors posted 87 before being bowled out in 14.4 overs. Naveen Kumar and Shekhar Kumar were their main scorers with 26 and 20 runs, respectively. Monu Sharma (3 for 15), Sunny Kumar (2 for 10) and Anuj (2 for 10) restricted their innings.

In reply, APL Panthers could muster only 85 for 5 in stipulated 15 overs. Prakash Chandra (28) and Sunny Dhiman (24) batted well for Panthers but their efforts were not enough to extricate their team from the jaws of defeat. Anubhabv Narwal was the most successful bowler for Warriors as bagged 2 for 12.

Brief scores: Super Warrior: 87 all out In 14.4 overs (Naveen Kumar 26, Shekhar Kumar 20, Prashant  11,  Monu Sharma  for 3 for 15, Sunny Kumar  2 for 10,  Anuj 2 for 10).  

 A.P.L Panthers:  85 for 5 in 15 overs (Prakash Chandra 28, Sunny Dihman 24. Anubhav Narwal 2 for 12, Salman 1 for 1).

In another match Dynamic Kings  routed AICF Rangers by 72 runs.

Propped up by fine knocks by Happy (43) and Vikas Kumar (30)  Dynamic Kings piled 154 for 7 in stipulated 15 overs. In reply, AICF Rangers were skittled out for 82 in 14.1 overs. All-rounder Happy was the main wrecker-in-chief by capturing four wickets for 17 runs.
