CHANDIGARH, AUG 5
The Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) is holding selection trialsfor selecting the freestyle, Greco Roman Style and women probables for participation in the New Delhi Commonwealth Games-2010 and 2010 Senior World Wrestling Championship in Russia.
The first round of trials in freestyle and Greco-Roman style will be held at the State Training Centre in Sonepat on August 8. For female, the trials will be conducted at the National Institute of Sports in Patiala on August 9.
The selection trial Committee comprises WFI president G.S. Mander (Chairman) . WFI vice-president Raj Singh (member), WFI secretary general Kartar Singh (convener), Government observer Naresh Kumar (member), chief coaches (freestyle, GR/female) , foreign experts (members).
